Chris Cathers invited Tory to Purpose Fueled about a year and a half ago. His first meeting was at the Plymouth site.
He keeps coming back for the people, and the chance to work on himself. He’s most proud of his family, raising three strong daughters and staying married for nearly 39 years.
1. When did you first walk through the door? What brought you here?
Chris Cathers invited me about a year an half ago. I attended the first meeting at the Plymouth (Minnetonka) site.
2. Why do you keep coming back?
Meeting interesting people and an opportunity to work on myself.
3. What’s your favorite Purpose Fueled experience — a moment, a conversation, a speaker. Something that stuck.
I don’t think I can name a favorite. I’m just impressed with how deep some people are able to go with when they share their story. It is an impressive display of courage.
4. Who are three people you’ve met through Purpose Fueled that have changed your life?
I don’t know about changing my life, but Chris Cathers, Todd Bentley, & Mick White come to mind as impactful.
5. What’s one thing you’d tell someone who has never been to Purpose Fueled?
Be prepared to think about and talk about important things.
6. What are you most proud of in life?
My family, raising three strong daughters and being married for nearly 39 years.
7. What’s the title of your next chapter — in life or in business?
Handing off the reigns.
8. What don’t people know about you that they should?
I have a strong faith and am very involved in mission work around the world.
9. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Either a professional motorcycle racer or technology.
10. How do your best friends, kids, or family describe you? Who do they say you are?
Fun, caring, and thoughtful.
11. Who are the types of people you really love meeting?
Executives from midmarket manufacturing and distribution companies.
12. If someone in our community should connect with you, who are they? What’s going on in their life or business?
Executives from midmarket manufacturing and distribution companies who are contemplating, planning, or struggling with an ERP, CRM, or other significant technology implementation. I’ve done hundreds and know how to prepare them to avoid the expensive landmines.
