Every month, he shows up as a host. Not a founder giving a speech. Just a host, in the room, doing the work.

Title He’s Proudest Of.
Dad Ultimate.

He was flying home from Thailand when it hit him.

He had just wrapped a season speaking in five countries in five months. From the stage, he never got to connect with people the way he wanted to. His son missed him. He missed his son.

Somewhere over the Pacific, a simpler thought took over: there has to be a better way.

Before any of this, there had been hundreds — maybe thousands — of one-on-one coffees and meetings over the years, helping people individually. The question that kept coming back was simple: what if people gathered as a community and had these conversations together, instead of one at a time?

“I believe you’re never ‘ready.’ It’s just time.”

After a decade of a genuinely heavy season of life, it was time. To share the lessons. To make space for other people to be seen. To do business, and life, differently. Purpose Fueled started because Mick loves helping people — that’s really the whole reason.

Every Friday morning

He founded it. But every month, he still shows up as a host.

Viking Lakes is his room. Same as it’s always been — no stage, no separation, just Mick in a folding chair with everyone else.

Over three and a half years, he’s hosted hundreds of conversations. Tears. Laughs. Deep, immediate connections between people who walked in as strangers. He’s shared the morning with special guests including Nikki Peters, Jennifer Zick, Kendall Harrell, Patrick Flanagan, Aaron Eggert, Ryan Pacyga, Carrie Heimer, and Christopher Thomas.

What still surprises him: how fast the time goes. He always wishes he had three more hours of questions.

“I love when a guest shares something they weren’t expecting to share. That’s usually the best part of the whole morning.”

His favorite part

Once a month, his son gets up at 5:45am to come with him.

Macallister joins Mick at Purpose Fueled every month. The community pours into him — love, conversation, encouragement, joy. He shows up full of questions, and he leaves with more of them.

Afterward, on the ride home, they talk. The joys. The mistakes. The successes. Real conversation between a father and a son, built out of a room Mick built for exactly that.

“The life you live is the lesson you teach. I’m thankful for all the lessons this community teaches my son.”

What he’d tell you if you’ve never been.

If you’re searching for more. If you’re searching for something different. If you’re searching for community, deep connections, and real talk — Purpose Fueled is for you.

Mick also founded the 100 Year Manifesto, a tool for thinking about the life you want to leave behind — but the room at Viking Lakes is where you’ll actually find him.
