I choose to attend Purpose Fueled events because good things happen when like-minded, like-hearted people come together. Whether it’s the hosts, guest speakers, or the attendees around your table, there’s little ego or posturing at Purpose Fueld events.

There’s just a common quest to seek the greater meaning to our work. I feel uplifted every time.

Purpose Fueled has quickly become my favorite monthly event. The great conversations and incredible individuals who come together each month is truly remarkable. The welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to connect with others, and I’ve formed wonderful friendships and valuable business connections at every event! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a more meaningful networking experience.

I look forward to the first Friday of the month – even if it means leaving the house before 7AM, because I know that by attending Purpose Fueled I will be enlightened, inspired, and see the world through new eyes. I show up at the Purpose Fueled as my whole self – a struggling parent wanting to raise good humans, an overwhelmed spouse, an off the chart extrovert, a sales leader hoping to grow our small business, and all the other hats that come with life. Purpose Fueled allows me to come with all my hats and find comfort learning amongst the room.

At my first Purpose Fueled event, I was having an exceptionally hard day with one of my children, worried that as a parent I wasn’t doing enough or had messed up somehow. Thinking that Purpose Fueled was another work networking event, I struggled getting myself to show up and turn on the charm usually needed to talk business. I was welcomed into a small group of four people, all new connections. In the small group discussion, I quickly recognized that this was not business networking, we were talking about our kids, our families, our struggles, our wins, I felt so comfortable talking to this group that I know that I cried sharing and by the end of the event, I felt comfortable enough to give each of them a hug and a thank you.

Purpose Fueled can be summed up in three words:

Community, Connectedness, and Encounters.

Purpose Fueled is building and connecting a community of selfless servants, doing amazing things that leave a lasting impact.

7:00AM once a month provides an Encounter with people of greatness-whether they realize it or not. The meetings are transparent, inspiring and contagious.

Come for the community – leave ignited!!

We all know that networking is good for business. You know what is better? A space that promotes self-growth and community. That’s Purpose Fueled. It’s the opposite of the ‘what’s in it for me’ attitude prevalent at some networking events. Rather, you are surrounded by the ‘doers’; people who are living lives of purpose and those who are on the path of defining their own purpose.

Walk with the wise and become wise; You are who you surround yourself with; These are concepts my parents passed on to me when I was young. I have done the same with my own daughters because I believe there is a lot of truth and wisdom in those statements. There is another quote by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe that has the same sentiment: “Tell me with whom you consort and I will tell you who you are…if I know how you spend your time, then I know what might become of you.”

I have been to almost every Purpose Fueled event over the last year-and-a-half. What I find consistently is valuable discussion and the kind of people with whom I am honored to consort. So much so that I made the decision to become a Purpose Fueled VIP.
